“The incredible support that Pascale has brought me has allowed me to reach a level of independence that would otherwise be difficult.”

“Canine Companions believes in the joyful, transformative power of the human-canine partnership. Through the generous support of the Warner Fund in 2021, five children in the New York area received a service dog of their own. Our remarkable life-changing service dogs are literally opening doors and enhancing the lives of individuals with disabilities by performing physical tasks, such as picking up dropped objects, and most importantly provide a social bridge to increase confidence and self-esteem.”

“When our young clients abruptly ‘age out’ of the foster care system, they are left with minimal funds to secure furniture and home goods. Through our partnership with the Warner Fund, we are able to assist these youth by providing all the essential home goods you need to make an apartment into a home. From pots and pans or bathroom items, to furniture and seasonal items such as heaters and air conditioning units, the Warner Fund has been instrumental in helping us reach our mission. We could not be more thankful for the partnership we have developed over the last two years, and for the commitment they have shown to our young people.”

Words can’t express our gratitude for your ongoing support and commitment to our Fatherhood Empowerment Program (FEP) project. Throughout the COVID pandemic, our fathers relied on our program’s staff for emotional support to help alleviate their anxieties, and to assist them with their basic needs to ensure the safety and wellbeing of their families. Fathers have conveyed their sincere appreciation of the help they received. One father stated, “At first, I didn’t think that I needed the program, but when I began to participate, I discovered that it helped me refocus on the most important thing in my life: my children. The program helped me to learn how to talk to my children in a kind and loving way.” T.E.
“When I was first referred to the FEP, I wasn’t sure about taking part. I am so grateful that I did. I am now a focused father. It is a pleasure for me to have the responsibility of being a hands-on father. This help was given to me freely and now I can give it to my son.” A.R.

“The Warner Fund is really supportive, committed to helping at every turn, always looking to make life better for young people. The Warner Fund has shown up for us and our youth every time. Their support has helped sustain the impact of our work with foster care and court-involved youth. They have contributed to building our foster care community, bringing the untold stories of vulnerable youth to stage in NYC, and building our credible messenger initiative. We are incredibly grateful for their support.”

“Youth Communication is deeply grateful to the Warner Fund for its many years of support for our writing program, supporting adolescents in the child welfare system. Together, we have been able to impact dozens of youth in care every year to write true, personal stories about their lives. The act of writing these stories are not only transformational for our foster youth, they also show their peers how someone like them navigated similar challenges, and that they are not alone in their struggles. Significantly, the Warner Fund also helped Youth Communication to update its digital story platform, vastly improving the look and feel of the online publication where these stories reach readers.”
