Allaire Community Farm is a nonprofit sanctuary that transforms rescued animals and farm-based activities into powerful tools for healing, education, and workforce development. Serving individuals with special needs, at-risk youth, veterans, and families in crisis, the farm provides a safe and inclusive space where participants find purpose, gain skills, and build confidence. A core program, G.A.I.N. (Growing Academics In Nature), offers work-based learning partnerships with area high schools. Students, including those with disabilities, engage in daily farm tasks such as planting, animal care, and property maintenance, all designed to teach real-world skills and prepare them for future employment. The Warner Fund plays a critical role in sustaining and expanding G.A.I.N. by providing essential funding for agriculture-based education and vocational training. Recent grants from the Fund have also made safe and reliable transportation possible for children and adolescents, including those with disabilities, ensuring that no student is left behind due to access barriers.
The Warner Fund also invests in the Youth Leadership Academy, which helps young people develop leadership and life skills while navigating personal challenges. Many participants struggle with anxiety, low confidence, family or academic difficulties, or social disconnection. This program offers them far more than just volunteer experience. Through structured mentorship and hands-on work, youth build resilience, self-awareness, and leadership abilities within a community that believes in their potential. Philanthropic support makes it possible for these young people to heal, grow, and succeed—often at a time when they need it most.
