Joseph Madonia, LCSW-R serves as the Executive Director of The Joseph LeRoy and Ann C. Warner Fund. In his role, Joseph provides visionary leadership and strategic direction, overseeing all aspects of the Fund’s operations from grantmaking and program development to community partnerships and long-term planning.
Under Joseph’s guidance, the Fund has deepened its commitment to educational access, family stability, and disability inclusion by supporting scholarships, therapeutic services, and innovative grassroots programming. He leads the foundation’s grant review process, conducts site visits, builds and sustains relationships with grantees, and ensures that funding decisions align with the Fund’s mission and values.
With over 27 years of experience in clinical social work, nonprofit administration, and addiction treatment, Joseph has secured more than $22 million in federal funding throughout his career to support housing, mental health, substance use, and youth justice initiatives. His expertise in developing sustainable programs and securing public-private partnerships has made a lasting impact on the communities he serves.
In addition to his leadership at The Warner Fund, Joseph is a Clinical Associate Professor at NYU Silver School of Social Work and Director of its Post-Master’s Program in Addictions. He is licensed to practice in New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Connecticut.
